WHO IS GREYSTONE?

Greystone Technology Group has a unique model for providing IT management services to small businesses. They developed a sterling reputation in the region for their strong customer service dedication, excellent technical skills, and a focus on relating IT decisions and business strategy.  Managing Partner and Fort Collins native, Peter Melby, moved back home from Denver in 2009 to bring the same service to our local business community.   

WHAT’S THE STORY?

I (Derrick) was introduced to Peter in early 2010.  I was inspired by Greystone’s focused and scalable service model and in turn Peter was impressed with the strategic vision and strong reputation we developed at Caddis.  We talked over the subsequent months about the fact that the markets for IT infrastructure and web services were becoming more and more intertwined.  The future of IT services requires a strong focus on web services and vice versa.  In late 2010, as we outlined our individual company goals for the upcoming year, it dawned on us that we were looking at an incredible opportunity to bring these companies together.  The potential short term and long term impact was too great to pass up. 

WHY THE NAME CHANGE?

While Caddis was focused solely on the web services market space, Greystone’s strong brand built with a vision for merging the best aspects of complimentary technology-related services.  We are excited to leverage Greystone’s deep connections and efficient infrastructure. 

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR CADDIS CLIENTS?

The short answer is that this merger won’t change much unless you want it to.  I remain the Managing Partner of Greystone Web and the key pieces of our service delivery remain in place.  I am excited that Greystone brings strong support in the form of infrastructure, process, and resources that will allow us to execute our sales and service more effectively.   We are uniquely positioned to offer new services as the technology landscape evolves.  Oh yeah - and we know a great place to get quality IT support!
